BIM COORDINATOR POSITION

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in engineering or construction management

  • Considered technology savvy and adaptive

  • Working knowledge of and proficient in current Autodesk platform software both Revit and Autocad

  • Working knowledge of BIM 360 platform and Revit server

  • Working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems

  • Ability to aid in creation and implementation of company BIM standards

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail

  • Attention to detail and quality control

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and maintaining a Revit model for our Engineers and Designers to work in during planning, design, and construction of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems

  • Preparing and sending of project deliverables for issues and project updates

  • Communicating with project team to maintain project collaboration across multiple disciplines in a BIM environment

  • Develop/enhance office standard Revit model project templates to workable construction documents

  • Ensure that company standards are maintained on all deliverables

  • Maintain title block information with our parameters and shared parameters from clients

  • Ensure compliance with clients BIM execution plans

  • Monitor adjustments in linked models and discusses changes with project team

  • Interact with our teams and clients to coordinate model exchanges and delivery

  • Enhance, create, and manage office standard MEP families and other Revit content as project dictates
