One of the founding principals of Certus Consulting Engineers, Danna has spent more than 20 years in the consulting engineering field where she has extensive experience designing reliable, efficient electrical systems for complex healthcare projects. She has worked across a multitude of project types, including hospitals, infrastructure assessments, power studies, assisted living, specialty healthcare occupancies, mixed-use medical office buildings, and structured parking facilities.

At Certus, Danna focuses on advancements in engineering and technology, with her experience in managing large, complex projects directly translating to the company’s well-synchronized project delivery. Danna loves that the technical nature of electrical engineering design means no project is ever the same, and her large-scale technical expertise and knack for innovation provide insight on cost control, project scheduling, and system evaluation. Her favorite Certus core value is “We work with integrity,” which embodies her everyday approach to life and business, and she’s honored to use her problem-solving skills to indirectly impact the important work healthcare professionals do every day.

Danna received her Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering from Kansas State University and began her career at ccrd, now WSP, where she became Senior Vice President. Outside of work, she is passionate about running and is involved in Chase Oaks Church children’s ministries. A member of the Kansas State Alumni Association, she also served as a committee member for the CSE Magazine editorial advisory board and has received multiple industry awards.
