Kevin Miller, P.E. LEED AP

Kevin is a principal at Certus Consulting Engineers, where he uses out-of-the-box thinking to problem-solve and push the limits of engineering. Throughout his 22-year career in the MEP consulting business, Kevin has had a myriad of experiences, specifically mechanical and plumbing, and he conceptualizes and innovates sophisticated designs in all of his projects, whether they’re large-scale healthcare properties or small office buildings,

Kevin contributes technical excellence and quality assurance to each Certus project, but he also values client and partner relationships and prioritizes authenticity in every interaction. His ability to strengthen bonds through any issues that arise makes him an excellent project manager and collaborative team member and partner. A connector by nature, his favorite Certus core value is “We create connectedness,” and he is honored to be part of a team that cares about one another, both in and out of work. 

Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering from Kansas State University and began his career at ccrd, now WSP, where he gained deep industry knowledge. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, church, and neighbors as well as hunting, woodworking, and being creative with his hands — all things that inspire him in his everyday work.
