USPI Southlake Medical Office Building and Surgery Center

United Surgical Partners International is one of the largest ambulatory surgery platforms in the country, with more than 440 surgical facilities. The project scope includes a two-story, 23,000 square foot Medical Office Building located in Southlake, TX including an 18,000 square foot licensed Ambulatory Surgical Center on the second floor.   

Spaces within the ASC included six Operating Rooms, 20 Pre-OP and PACU beds, and all required support spaces including a full sterile processing department. The Certus team has extensive experience working in the State of Texas and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (THHSC). Projects that include mixed occupancies of licensed and non-licensed spaces require special attention to the MEP infrastructure systems. Certus helped drive the design that provides the required dedicated HVAC, medical gas, and electrical power systems for the ASC while maintaining system redundancies and owner project requirements within the project budget.
