Baylor Scott and White Heart and Vascular Hospital and Medical Office Building

The Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital is a nationally recognized leader in innovative, comprehensive patient care built on a tradition of excellence in collaboration with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and vascular surgeons.  The new hospital provides cardiac and vascular care from advanced diagnostic techniques to minimally invasive treatments. To support that mission, the new 30,650 square feet hospital includes a four bed inpatient, universal care unit and an eight bed same day surgery prep / recovery unit. Additionally, the facility includes a single hybrid operating room and a finished shell for a future special procedure catheterization lab.   

The total project scope includes a three story, 77,000 square foot Medical Office Building (MOB) with the licensed hospital on Levels 1 and 2 and B-Occupancy clinical space on levels 1 and 3.  With extensive experience working in the State of Texas and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (THHSC), Certus understands the intricacies of building a separately licensed healthcare facility within a B-occupancy building. We are the MEP experts integral to a team where each stakeholder offers valuable expertise.
