Methodist Charlton Medical Center – The Dr. Stephen and Marilyn Mansfield Oncology Unit

Methodist Charlton’s primary service area encompasses communities that have been identified as consistently experiencing the highest rates of breast cancer in the Dallas area. The Dr. Stephen and Marilyn Mansfield Oncology Unit at Methodist Charlton was created to address this disparity. Catering to the community need, Certus was engaged to partner with the Owner, Arhictect and Construction teams to bring the much-needed oncology services to the area. The scope of the project consisted of renovating a wing of the 5th floor into a 12-bed oncology nursing unit. The oncology unit opened its doors to the community in the Spring of 2021.
