Texas Health Huguley Hospital Ft. Worth South – Patient Tower Expansion

Burleson, TX

Constructed adjacent to the existing hospital, the new tower features a 20-bed intensive care unit (ICU) floor and two shelled floors, ready for future expansion to accommodate a total of 66 beds. The project also includes a 44-room emergency department, expanded radiology department housing advanced imaging technology including MRI, CT, and General Radiology, and a new servery and dining area. The project also addressed critical updates within the existing hospital, including the relocation of the Oncology department and the creation of a new dialysis space.

Partnering with the Owner, Architect, General Contractor and MEP Trade Partners, the project was delivered through a design-assist/integrated approach. The close collaboration between owner, design, and construction teams allowed for real-time problem-solving, enhanced coordination between disciplines, and efficient decision-making. This collaborative approach not only accelerated the timeline but also ensured the highest quality standards were met throughout the design and construction process. The result is a modern, patient-focused facility that enhances the hospital’s ability to deliver comprehensive care. With its expanded capabilities, as well as its flexible shelled floors for future growth, the new tower positions the hospital to serve the community’s evolving healthcare needs for years to come.
